Happy Book Day, Diviner’s Bow!

The 27th novel set in the star-spanning Liaden Universe® created by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, third in the Padi yos’Galan internal arc, Diviner’s Bow riffs on classic Lee-and-Miller themes of what does it mean to be human, and the proposition that we’re all better when we help each other.

A world divided cannot stand. A people divided cannot thrive.

The Oracle has Seen the end of Civilization — and of the Haosa. While well-meaning people struggle to implement change that might, at least, mitigate a disaster, others are looking toward the profit they can make from the end of the world.

    Sharon,

I read Diviner’s Bow last night from cover to cover. Another masterpiece. At home, Becky is curled up in her monster recliner with our ChiWeenie, Roseanne Rosannadanna in her lap, reading it now. Except for coffee, snack and necessity breaks, she should be done by this evening. She reads a bit slower than I do (the result of an often-regretted speed reading class I took in my misspent youth-yes, they had speed-reading in the Middle ages). We look forward to anything you might care to write. You and Steve have made our world a bit brighter with the glimpses into yours. We hope things are warming up in the Great White North. We’re both from Maine, but have lived in Northern Florida for some time now. We’ll be watching for your next Opus.
